Eligibility :
Applicants with any nationality, who was born in or after 1st of April 1987 are eligible to submit their works.

Composition must be between 8 -15 minutes in length.
Submission :
The applicants must submit the score as a digital PDF file. Inclusion of a recording of the piece in high quality audio digital format is optional. However, MIDI file is also acceptable. All materials must be uploaded online with the application form, along with the applicant’s short biography, program note, curriculum vitae, and a statement of authenticity.

Application Deadline :
no later than 26th February 2018 4pm.(GMT +7.00)
Concert :
Selected composition will be performed by Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music Youth Orchestra on SAT. March 24, 2018 at Sangita Vadhana Hall, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, under the baton of renowned conductor, Peter Veale.
The PGVIM will be able to provide 3-night accommodation and local transportation from hotel to the venue.
Jury :The jury are made of a number of internationally recognized composers. The list of the jury will be announced no later than one month after the deadline of submission.
Selection :
The selected composition will be announced no later than SUN. March 9th, 2018 on the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music website.
Award :
Selected composer will be awarded an honorarium of 1,000 US Dollars.
Other Regulations :
1. Score must have not been published, awarded, or commercially recorded.
2. Only one entry per person is allowed.
3. Composer’s name should not appear on the score. It will be screened anonymously by the jury.
4. Alterations of the score are not permitted after entry, unless there is a request for a change from the conductor or jury to solve any problems in terms of practical performance.
5. Submitted score will not be returned.
