Call for score : ASEAN Youth Ensemble (AYE) 2018
Call for composers!
AYE 2018 is back for the upcoming concert on the 31st August 2018!
“ We are looking for 3 - 7 mins pieces for small ensemble (Classical + ASEAN instruments). Selected composers will be invited to join us in the workshop in Bangkok with Professor Dieter Mack, Conductor Peter Veale, Ajarn Anant Narkkong, Members of TIMF ensemble, Korea and young musicians from PGVIM. ”
For the selected composer, flights, accommodation and local hospitalities will be provided by PGVIM
Deadline: 12 August 2018, 1pm
Workshop Dates: 25 August - 1 September 2018, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Bangkok
Instruments:
Kulintang, Gamelan (Demung, Saron, Peking, Bonang, Slenthem, Gong) , Pat Waing, Chakhe, Khlui, Dan Trahn, 2 Violin, Viola, Cello, 2 Double Bass, 2 Flute, Clarinet, F.Horn, 2 Piano, Guitar, 2 Percussion (Timpani , Bass Drum, Glockenspiel, Xylophone, Marimba, Vibraphone, Cymbal, Gong, Konga - Bongo, Woodblocks, Triangle, Tubular bells)
