Call For Score/Notation
The New Gamelan Music Festival committee is proud to announce the New Gamelan Music Festival (NGMF) will be held in November 25 to 27 November 2013 at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta – Indonesia.
Categories
1. Score/notation for part of Javanese or Balinese gamelan instruments
2. Score/notation for Full set of Javanese or Balinese gamelan instruments
3. Score/notation for mixed of Full or part of any gamelan instruments with other instruments include electronics device such tape, video or computer.
Rules & Regulations
1. The submitted work has to be composed after January 2009.
2. The duration has to be less than 15 minutes.
3. For the category #2 and #3, players max. 15 persons.
4. For performances requiring non-standard or special instruments, composers are responsible for providing the instruments and the performers on location.
5. Channels for audio playback are limited to 8 channels.
6. Only 1 (one) screen and video projector provided, more than 1(one) set needed, composer should provide extra cost might occur.
7. Up to two works may be submitted, but they must belong to different categories.
8. Scores should be sent on PDF file format and audio files (if any) in WAV file format to the committee.

This call is also open to any gamelan group formats playing composition within the categories above.
