please note that our society is not yet member of ACL, so if you are interested to participate ACL Singapore festival, you have to send in your scores as individual and pay for the entry fee.

Deadlines:
All required materials should be received by ACL-Singapore before 15 Apil, 2013.
Each ACL country shall select a Young Composer Representative under the age of 30 (born after 20 Sep, 1982). The deadline for the Young Composers' Competition is 3 May, 2013.
Conditions for submissions
The applicant whose composition has been selected to be performed in the festival needs to provide a score and parts at no charge, and is responsible for clearing all performance-related rights of the piece.
Although submissions from composers throughout the world will be accepted, priority will be given to composers who are current members of any of the ACL Member Country organizations, or are Individual or Associate Members of the ACL (please see the Asian Composers League website for a full list of these members).
Composers who are current members of any of the ACL Full or Associate Member Organisations, or are themselves Individual or Associate Members of the ACL do not need to include an entry fee.
Non-members must include an entry fee of US$10 (max. of 2 works), made out to the Asian Composers League (please contact [email protected] for more information). Preference will be given to works that are in some ways engaged with Asian musical traditions and concepts.
Each composer from the ACL Member Country organization may submit up to 2 works of different categories for the festival. Submitted works should preferably be composed in or after year 2001. Any compositions previously performed at any ACL music festival cannot be submitted to this festival.
All submitted material is non-returnable.
What and how to submit
Applicants should send all the required materials and a signed Application Form to their own ACL national sections. Each Full and Associate Member Organisation will then collate all entries and forward to ACL-Singapore by the deadlines stated above. No entry fee is required. The following are required with each submission:
· A bound score.
· Sound recording of the notated work, if available.
· A recent photo of the composer, a biography (150 words), and programme notes (150 words) on a CD.
· For electroacoustic compositions, one score or guide and the system plan must be submitted.

B. String Quartet + (6-12min)
2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello, 1 piano. Work can be for the size of a trio up to the size of a quintet.
C. Art Song (4-6min)
A work for solo voice or duet (soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor, and bass) unaccompanied or accompanied by up to 2 instruments. The instruments should be readily available such as piano, guzheng, cello, etc. If any language other than English is used in the composition, a translation of the text in English must be submitted together with the score. Otherwise the submission will not be accepted.
D. Chinese Chamber Ensemble (6-10min)
Plucked Strings: 1 Pipa , 1 Yangqin , 3 Ruan (Liuqin , Zhongruan , Daruan),1 Guzheng

H. Percussion Group - Only for Young Composers’ Competition (8-10min)
A solo work or a work for up to 3 percussionists. The available instruments are as follow:
